National Association for Justice Information Systems

The National Association for Justice Information Systems (NAJIS) is an organization of individuals who are responsible for the acquisition, operation and management of local, state and federal criminal justice information systems.

All managers for the courts and allied agencies who are involved with automated information systems can benefit from NAJIS membership. In particular, individuals who are investigating, evaluating and purchasing software or hardware that will facilitate case tracking and management will benefit from membership and participation in NAJIS activities.

NAJIS has been successful in presenting a high-quality program to our members every year. This year's conference will be held in October; we have selected Santa Fe as the conference city, and the El Dorado as the conference facility.

We also want to grow our organization, and the Board of Directors voted to expand the membership of the board. As an all-volunteer organization, NAJIS relies on its membership to develop and present its program. If you have attended a NAJIS conference, you are encouraged to consider further involvement by participating on the board of directors. A commitment to the board involves participating in various development activities and attending our winter planning meeting. Please contact a board member for more information if you are interested.
